Vivo X200

Design: Compact, Premium, and Easy to Carry

The X200 is a breath of fresh air in a world of giant phones at 197g (or 202g depending on the back material) and 160.3 x 74.8 x 8mm, it’s lighter and slimmer than the X200 Pro (228g) and way more pocketable than the S25 Ultra (218g with its flat titanium beast). The aluminum frame with glass front/back feels solid, and the Natural Green color has this subtle aurora shimmer under light Cosmos Black or Blue are stealthier options. IP68 rating handled a rainy commute no problem, and Schott Xensation Alpha glass shrugged off keys in my pocket.

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display (2800×1260, ~460 PPI) with 120Hz LTPO is sharp and vibrant 4500 nits peak brightness crushes sunny days, HDR10+ makes Netflix pop. Versus X200 Pro’s larger 6.78-inch, the X200’s smaller size means higher effective PPI for text, and it’s comfier one-handed than the S25 Ultra’s 6.9-inch QHD+. Curved edges look premium but can catch glare Samsung’s flat anti-reflective wins outdoors. Ultrasonic fingerprint is snappy, even wet.

Performance: Flagship Speed with Efficient Cooling

MediaTek Dimensity 9400 (3nm) with up to 16GB RAM it’s a powerhouse. AnTuTu ~2.3 million, Geekbench multi-core ~8000+. Genshin on ultra? Smooth 60fps, no throttle thanks to better cooling than X90 series. Versus X200 Pro’s same chip + V3+ imaging, performance is identical, but X200’s smaller body warms a tad faster during marathon gaming. S25 Ultra’s Snapdragon 8 Elite edges in raw benchmarks, but Vivo’s on-device AI feels snappier for camera tasks.

OriginOS 6 on Android 15 clean animations, AI wallpapers that adapt to weather. 4 years OS + 5 years security. Versus Samsung’s One UI 7, Vivo’s less bloated but misses DeX. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 full connectivity.

Cameras: Balanced Triple Setup with ZEISS Magic

Triple rear: 50MP main (Sony IMX921, f/1.57 OIS), 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP periscope telephoto (3x optical, f/2.57). The main sensor captures insane detail/daylight shots, ultra-wide is wide and sharp, 3x zoom perfect for portraits. ZEISS Natural Color keeps things realistic low-light with VCS spectrum tech is vibrant yet clean. Versus X200 Pro’s 200MP 3.7x periscope + 1-inch main, the X200 is “good enough” for most no extreme zoom, but better balanced than S25 Ultra’s 200MP main in portraits sometimes.

32MP selfies sharp with accurate tones. Video 8K 30fps, 4K 60fps cinematic pro modes galore. AI Generative Edit removes objects/fills backgrounds flawlessly. Versus S25 Ultra, Vivo wins natural colors/low-light; Samsung zoom king.

Software and Battery: Smart Features, Monster Endurance

OriginOS 6 AI: Live Translate, Circle to Search, Photo Ambient. Battery 5800mAh lasts 1.5-2 days (8-9 hours screen heavy), beats X200 Pro’s 6000mAh in efficiency sometimes. 90W wired (50% in ~19 min), no wireless on base model. Versus S25 Ultra’s 5000mAh, Vivo crushes longevity.

Price and Final Thoughts

₹65,999 for 12/256GB base, up to ₹80,000+ for higher great value vs X200 Pro (₹84,999+) or S25 Ultra (~₹1,29,999). Global harder to find, but India pricing killer.

The Vivo X200 is the compact camera king of 2025 balanced ZEISS triple cams, monster battery, flagship power in a pocketable body. Minor cons: no wireless charging, OriginOS bloat for some. Versus X200 Pro, worth saving if no need extreme zoom; beats S25 Ultra for battery/portability. If you want small but mighty, this is it 9.5/10, my favorite daily!
